OUR STORY

Founded in 1989 by two local brothers, Beach Auto Outfitters has remained family owned and operated since its inception. Originally established as Cap City USA, our focus was primarily on selling fiberglass truck caps and drop-in bedliners.

Over the years, the automotive landscape evolved with increasingly complex trucks and a growing demand for aftermarket accessories.

Adapting to these changes, we expanded our offerings to include a wide range of products and services. This expansion included spray-on liners, bumpers, bull bars, vent visors, floor mats, bug shields, lights, trailer hitches, and more.

In the mid-2000s, one of our dedicated summer employees graduated college and returned with his college roommate to establish Southern Performance International within our facility. Initially renting two bays, they specialized in lift kits, wheels, tires, performance modifications, and off-road accessories. As our businesses grew and operated in close collaboration, it became evident that consolidating our operations would streamline efficiencies.

Thus, several years ago, we merged Cap City USA and Southern Performance International into a unified entity under the name Beach Auto Outfitters. Today, while our offerings span a comprehensive array of automotive enhancements, we remain committed to our founding principles of family ownership and personalized service. Our enduring dedication to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction continues to drive our business forward.
